We’re in Belfast, a deligntful and beautiful Irish city. People are wonderful, neighborhoods are great, but signs of the troubles, political chaos of the 1970s and beyond remain. A series of gates seperates a Catholic and Loyalist neighborhood, with opposing murals all over both of them. We are safe, but this is disturbing, especially to me as someone with an Irish Catholic background. Connection problems, will post more soon… we’re fine.
