Still in Scotland

Hi all, we are still alive and well in Scotland. I have had trouble finding a good computer to use with the Blog. As I said in my last entry that was full of typos, this is a wonderful country. The Highlands are spectacular, they have been deforested. After large landholders ran small farmers off the land during the Enclosures, forests grew… these were cut by the British during WW1. There are many efforts to reforest the country, and to restore wild habitats. We visited an osprey center the other day… osprey were nearly extinct here, but have returned. We also saw a great dunes preserve today. Time is running out, I hope to add more soon.
